Itchy after hair transplant - can I use aloe vera gel on my recipient area?

You really need to ask post surgery questions to your doctor.  Your doctor knows your personal medical information and can direct you to a better treatment plan.In general, there should be no issue with aloe.

Many people complain of itching after a hair transplant as the skin is dry and there is a lot of recovery of the skin edges after a hair transplant that causes redness and itching. The use of aloe vera gel works well provided it is not used in the first 4-5 days when healing is most active. A good washing routine is important and I generally get our patients to wash their hair daily and use a conditioner on the skin after the wash to soften it and prevent itching, but aloe vera gel can work well.
