Hi Doctor, after 5 days my hair transplant I drag a bike for parking.. it was heavy. it was just for seconds I lift it. does it wrong effect of hair transplant.

As long as you didn't sneeze while straining, you don't have to worry about the grafts shooting out of your head.In all seriousness, use common sense or read the many other answers below.  You'll be ok.

Greetings,If you haven't had any bleeding it would be really difficult to damage the grafts at 5 days with heavy lifting.  I agree with the other doctors that it is not always smart to do heavy lifting, but unless you bumped your head, scratched your head, or otherwise created direct scalp trauma, I don't think that you will have anything to worry about here. Heavy lifting is not advised after a transplant. It's a good idea to check with your surgeon. It may be okay, but you'll want to check in with the doctor. Excessive pressure can can graft popping. It's generally more of a concern in the first few days but one needs to be careful for the first 10-12 days.

It is very critical to minimize physical activity the first week.  hair transplants are very fragile and many failed cases are due to something in the first week.

If there was tension, bleeding or pain after the lifting you may need to visit your doctor to make sure the donor wound is alright .   Usually after a week  lifting 50 pounds is ok.

One such incident without experiencing the feeling that there was any tearing of your scalp wound, means that it will probably be ok. A bike is usually under 50 pounds, so that weight should not be a problem following a strip procedure. For an FUE procedure you could enter competitive weight lifting if you wanted to do so at 5 days.

We usually advise our patients to avoid heavy lifting the first few weeks after a hair transplant.  It would be a good idea to have your surgeon do an exam to see if you have elevated or lost grafts.
