I am scheduled to give blood mid Sept for the first time, and I wanted to make sure that was okay if my surgery is in Dec. I am having an extended tummy tuck and breast lift with breast augmentation after massive weight loss. I am 18 years old and weight approx. 155 lbs. I also get allergy shots every other week, should I postpone them for a while around the date of my surgery? Thanks!

Yes indeed you can eat avocado and green salad before surgery - excellent idea.As for the vitamin E, the evidence is strong that in high dose supplements it can be damaging in the long run and can cause mild bleeding. But the chief point is - if you eat a healthy diet, you don't need it.
I think a call to your surgeon is in order. Usually after drain removal the drainage stops in a couple of days. This doesn't mean that something bad is going on, but I think your own doc is the one who should be deciding whether or not you need to be seen.All the best.
