My cheeks have flattened after 48 years and I do not have the money to go back over and over to have filler! I have seen pictures with nice results so I am not sure that I buy the excuse that they look unnatural. What's the big deal? I also don't really want fat transfer because I have heard the body can absorb it then you have to go back and have another procedure.

Answer: Cheek Implants versus filler You are correct in stating that there is not really a significant issue with cheek implants. Like other things, they were historically overdone in terms of size, creating unattractive results. If done with the appropriate size and shaped, they can be wonderful long term corrective procedures for patients with midface flattening. Asymmetry is really the only concern.
