Had breast augmentstion (300/325cc mod+ under the muscle) last Friday, aug 15. I was home all week working a day job. Yesterday i ran some errands and I did a few things around the house. Nothing major at all but definitely more activity than I'd seen all week. By 9 pm my right breast was starting to feel tight and swollen.

Answer: Breast difference. Overdoing after a breast augmentation can certainly cause swelling. Worse you can restart bleeding and end up with a hematoma which can get infected or set you up for capsular contracture. More common I tend to see right handed patients have a firm and elevated right implant due to muscle spasm. This will tend to settle over time and not over using your right arm. You need to see your surgeon to determine whether your problem is swelling, hematoma, spasm, or some other problem. Take it easy, see your surgeon, and good luck.

Answer: Overactive following breast augmentation You can absolutely cause increased swelling from being overactive. Please remember, you can still have a bleed with resulting hematoma up to 10 days after surgery so be cautious with your activity. I would consult your surgeon if you have further concerns.Best of luck,
