I appreciate your question.Right now, you are in the infancy of your recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortablehaving implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for youto physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are manyvariables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop sizeand shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patientsheal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a differentrate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon sohe/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give trueadvice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plasticsurgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photograph. Based on your picture it appears that your results are normal for two days after surgery. It is not uncommon to initially have one breast be a bit more swollen or higher than the other. If this difference has remained constant, and you are not having additional symptoms such as increased pain and bruising, all is likely well. If these symptoms worsen see your surgeon for an in-person evaluation.
At two days you may only have more swelling on one side or if your implants are under the muscle, one side may have a little more spasm. However, I would contact your surgeon to make sure you do not have a hematoma.
Early after surgery one breast can be more full and tighter than the other. Usually it's simply different swelling and muscle tightness. This will change as time passes. As long as it isn't getting increasingly big and more painful than the other side everything should be fine. If it does change significantly call your surgeon to discuss
At two days post-breast augmentation, you are entitled to have one breast appear a little different than the other. There is always one side that sits a little differently at first, but this is not necessarily an indication of anything wrong. As long as the one side is not continuing to increase in size, suggestive of bleeding around the implant, it appears to be normal. Always best to check in with your surgeon for any issues as well. I hope this helps.
The more swollen side was larger in your belfries so the increase is magnified. In my opinion you needed a larger implant on your left like a 300 cc
Some difference in swelling/bruising is commonly encountered after breast surgery. However, significant and/or increasing asymmetry may be a sign of a complication. Always, best to check with your own plastic surgeon when these types of concerns arise. Obviously, he/she knows your situation best and is ultimately responsible for your care. Best wishes.
Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. You may be an excellent candidate for breast augmentation surgery. Exact end results and cup sizes are usually quite difficult to calculate as everyone has a different starting point. It is important to have an in-person assessment regarding your concerns as it...
NOT EVEN ! DAY! Allow 3 months healing!!! Did not your surgeon explain healing time to you? >>>>>>>>>>>
The previous answer saying that they don't make conservative (moderate in Mentor) profiles in higher volumes is absolutely incorrect. In fact they make them up to 800cc. The reason they are not seen much in photos is because they get to wide in diameter to fit any but the widest patients. So you...
