Can you have sliding genioplasty and chin implant together?

 Yes, both procedures can be performed together. A chin implant can give 10 mm of added projection to the chin along with  few  millimeters of vertical height and lateral width. A genioplasty is performed as an inpatient procedure  and  expect an overnight stay at the hospital. Combining a sliding geniplasty with a chin implant can be done when the chin dimensions desired can not be achieved with either procedure alone. Adding an implant on top of the bone cal also help camouflage the stepoffs along the jawline which are very common in sliding genioplasties of any significant movement.
