I'm not sure that I need a full or partial rhinoplasty; the tip of my nose is just a bit too long for me. Is there a procedure that can remove the tip of cartilage and how would it compare to a full reconstruction in terms of cost?
Answer: Rhinoplasty cost Hello! The typical cost for rhinoplasty is $3000-7500, depending on location and skill of surgeon. I recommending finding an experienced (performing 50 or more rhinoplasties annually) surgeon with a large before/after portfolio. Consultation should include photo morphing to show you what is possible. good luck!

Answer: Tip Rhinoplasty Thank you for your question and photos. Based upon your description, a tip rhinoplasty is definitely indicated but upon further examination of your nose, more maybe needed. Most people coming in for an evaluation undergo complete examination including digital morphing photography to realize their complete goals. Normally costs for a rhinoplasty are around ~$ 4,000 to ~$7,000. Please see a qualified rhinoplasty surgeon in your area that comes with great references. Good luck.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. You may also benefit from a nasal tip deprojection. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Cost to remove the tip of nose cartilage? From the limited side photographs, there appears to be an overly projected nose, and an under projecting chin. A full rhinoplasty is required to decrease the overall projection of the nose and shave down the dorsal hump which is composed mostly of cartilage, with some bone. Osteotomies will also be required in addition to a tip-plasty on the lower lateral cartilages that compose the nasal tip. Consider a chin implant to help augment the chin forward to help with facial balance and proportions from the side profile, especially with respect to the overly projecting nose. For more information, and many before-and-after examples, please see the link and the video below
