Everything else seems to be healing as expected and on schedule. I do have a borderline autoimmune disorder (acts like lupus, but still watching bloodwork to get final differential diagnosis). Should I be concerned? "Normal" temp for me is 97.5.

Hi,
If the silicone implant was removed from your nose, your nose should go back to what it was prior to the implant insertion. However, the injected implant is there to stay and you may see some of that.

The pressure sensation that you are feeling is quite normal due to swelling of the inner lining of the nose and packing. It is also normal to see some minor discharge. These should resolve after removal of the packing and healing.
You are correct. The injuries to your nasal bridge are the cause of the problem. The breathing issues are also related to the trauma but may have an underlying allergic cause with the turbinate enlargement. Surgical correction would be helpful for your appearance and function too. Best, Dr. G.
