What can I do to remove eye bag that was caused by Botox? 6 month out (photos)

To address puffiness or under-eye bags, you may consider fillers to restore volume and even out your under-eye area. You may also consider “jelly roll” Botox which targets the slight bulge of muscle that appears under the eyes when you smile. It really depends on what is causing the eye bags.

We can see the puffiness under your left eye with smiling, but an examination would be necessary to determine the cause. After 24 years of injecting BTX, we have not seen any "permanent" unwanted sequelae that did not completely go away in 4 months post injection. My dear, you are a bit of a diagnostic dilemma. At six months post treatment the effects of the Botox should have worn off. If the eye bag remains you can consider treating the area with filler. Morpheus8 may be another option as it improves overall skin tone and texture.

Hello and thank you for your question. A face to face consult and examination is always best however in this scenario it could still take a little while for the botox effects to wear off causing the under eye swelling.Give it to 9 months and reassess but if it is caused by botox it will settle. Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note a transverse "roll" of skin of the lower eyelid associated with a droop of the lid.Injection of Botox by itself does not cause eyebags. However, if there was significant swelling / bruising after your procedure, you may have developed adhesions, preventing upward movement of the lower lid. Continue follow up with your surgeon as you may ultimately become a candidate for a scar release.15% of cosmetic surgeries can be improved through secondary revision.Best wishes...
