Hi, I don’t overly have a problem with nasiolabial folds, just a deep set wrinkle that is worse on one side (with also a little scar making it look longer) hoping to know which is the best route to go. Microneedling? Botox? I’m very unsure. Thankyou
Answer: Cohesive, Low Viscosity Fillers Work Well For Elevating + Smoothing Superficial Wrinkle Lines At least from the photo provided, the left nasolabial line appears quite narrow and superficial. If this is indeed so, then I have had great success in improving them by injecting a cohesive, low viscosity HA filler very superficially along the line. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.

CONTACT NOW Answer: How dermal filler may be right for you Thank you for your question and photo. The deep-set wrinkle you’re referring to may benefit from a small amount of hyaluronic acid dermal filler. These formulas can volumize shallow contours and smooth lines by adding volume to lift the targeted area of the skin. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector. They will be able to assess your concern to help you decide on the best treatment option.

Answer: Nasolabial fold Hello and thank you for your question. A face to face consult and examination is always best however in this scenario the best option would be a small amount of filler to help soften the static lines here. Please always seek treatment from a trained medical professional for any cosmetic treatment. Best wishes

Answer: Nasolabial folds Hello and thank you for your question. For the area in question, I would recommend a filler to smooth out those lines. You could start with one syringe and split it between both sides or do 1 syringe of filler on both sides for the best result. Botox only inhibits the movement in the muscle and microneedling is for skin texture not necessarily filling lines and wrinkles. I hope this information helps. Good luck!

Answer: Which procedure would deliver the best results to help minimize the appearance of wrinkles in the nasolabial folds? (photo) Hello! To help correct your concern with your nasolabial folds, there are many options for you. Yes, you can most definitely Microneedle the skin to help collagen production which will stimulate your body's collagen which can smooth out any unwanted wrinkles. Botox I don't think will be the absolute best solution for you. You most definitely can do fillers in the nasolabial folds, that will smooth and fill in the creases. I recommend starting with one of those 2 options and seeing what works for you, keep in mind Microneedle you may need 4-6 sessions, and for filler, you may need more sessions or syringes to give you the results you are looking for. Best of Luck!Dr. Julia Spears MD

Answer: Soft tissue filler Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photo, I note a well healed slightly depressed scar placed almost completely within the left nasolabial fold which creates a subtle contour deformity on the skin surface which casts shadows upon oblique lighting. Your skin demonstrates signs of early aging. To lessen its appearance, intradermal and subdermal injection of a tissue filler, will "level" out the fold and the scar. The result is temporary, lasting about 6 months and may be repeated as necessary. As aging continues over the years, the lines may gradually deepen and worsen over time, ultimately requiring a facelift.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
