The best decision I’ve ever made ! Dr Gadaleta performed the upper Blepharoplasty surgery which was done in the office . My eyesight has improved significantly by removing the extra skin. My confidence has skyrocketed. I look 10 years younger!! I’m so happy with the results in just one week. The entire experience was exceptional. The team is friendly , professional , positive and willing to go above and beyond . Thank you to Andria for the encouragement and Holly for the after care support . I appreciate the care and results I received .
As usual Dr. G comes through. This is of course the most I've ever had done on my face and I am so so happy that I entrusted it to Dr. Gadaleta. I am 55. This is only my three month postop progress and I've dropped at least 10 years off of my face in these photos, and as the months have gone by it's just getting better. Everything is so natural. Nobody can see the scars. Some people who've known me for years don't even notice. Others wonder how I look so good but don't say anything till I tell them I had a facelift. My hairstylist just last week responded with "oh thank god, I was wondering how you were aging so well and what I wasn't doing right for myself." Of course there's the kindness of Dr. G and the whole staff, the professionalism, and the true desire to make you look better, but not "plastic".....natural! If that's what you are after this is the place for you!
it is early yet after my neck left, but things are looking good, and the procedure was far easier than I expected. From initial intake to the practice through this point, it has been a five star experience. Personalized, professional, and efficient care since the beginning. I will post again when final results are visible, but I could not be more pleased at this point.
Dr. Gadaleta is very skilled, talented, and passionate. He uses the latest techniques to get natural, beautiful results for his patients. My stitches were removed just a week after surgery. Later that week, people said I looked younger and brighter and asked whether I changed my hair or makeup! They didn't know I had cosmetic surgery until I told them. During the first two weeks, four people were so impressed by Dr. Gadaleta's work that they asked me for his contact information. I was surprised by how minimal the bruising and swelling was. Concealer covered the suture areas and bruises for the first two weeks. I am now three weeks post-surgery, and no longer need to use concealer. The scars are tiny and will eventually be invisible. Dr. Gadaleta and his team are amazing. They are wonderful people who demonstrated true professionalism through the entire process. It was always easy to reach someone when I had questions or needed to change an appointment. Kimberly made sure I well prepared for the pre-op, surgery, and post-op stages. She sent me detailed documents and spent considerable time with me during the pre-op appointment to go over the information. The anesthesiologist contacted me directly the day before the procedure and said I could contact him if I had any questions. The nurse at the surgery center was great and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Gadaleta and the anesthesiologist came in before the surgery to talk with my husband and me. Before I knew it, I was awake and on my way home. The recovery was easy and I was working from home later that week. Dr. Gadaleta encouraged me to contact him directly if I had any questions. I did contact him a couple of times after the surgery, and he responded right away, even in the evening. I was very surprised and impressed by this level of support. I am thrilled with my appearance. I look like a younger version of myself (not someone else and not obvious that I had cosmetic surgery), which is exactly what I wanted. I know it takes more time and healing to get the full result, so the best is yet to come.
I have been going to OG for about 1.5 years. Dr. G and all the people that work at OG will make you feel welcomed, listened to, valued, and they have your best interest at the forefront of every recommendation they make. I had a lower neck/face lift, lower bleph, and lip lift this summer. It was literally pain free and my results are amazing. I give the highest recommendations for this practice, and especially Dr. G and Kimberly. They helped me create a care plan that is perfect for me and my skin. If you're considering getting any work done to your face/neck, do yourself the greatest favor and at minimum get a consult at OG Aesthetics.
I finally did the facelift and brow lift with Dr. G that I have been saving for and I am only 2 weeks out. Surgical recovery requires patience and care and rest and of course there was discomfort but OMG I already look 10 years younger and thats me still puffy with residual bruising. I can't imagine how good it's going to look and feel in 2-4 more weeks. This man is a genius. See my "before and after" photos in a few months on their site. The staff was AMAZING and the care is so personalized and genuine. I feel so fortunate to have met Dr. G all those years ago and so happy for both Dr. O and G for opening a high class, genuine, bad ass, reliable, and so top class in both surgical skill and artistic skill. I love these guys!!
From the moment I stepped into the OG office, I knew I was in excellent hands. The professional atmosphere and the warmness of the front office put me instantly at ease. During my consultation, Dr. Gadaleta took the time to truly understand my goals and concerns. He listened intently and provided honest, thoughtful guidance - never pushing unnecessary procedures. His depth of knowledge and experience was evident. The results of my procedure have exceeded even my highest expectations. Dr. Gadaleta is a true artist and master of his craft. My enhancements look incredibly natural. I cannot recommend Dr. Gadaleta highly enough. From his warm bedside manner to his impeccable surgical skills, he is simply the best. If you are considering cosmetic surgery, look no further - Dr. Gadaleta and OG Aesthetics is your answer.
I consulted with 4 Bay Area surgeons to determine who I wanted to work with. Dr. Gadaleta at OG definitely impressed me with technique, recommendations based on my desired results, and his follow up throughout the process has far exceeded my expectations. I was reassured throughout and his process made clear my wellbeing and safety was top priority. Although it's just 4 months since my procedure, the results are excellent. Friends that have known me for years and were aware that I had done some work, when I saw them they didn't remember until a few hours into our visit. They were very complimentary that I looked "great". The before and after pics definitely reflect the changes but looking at me after no one would know. This confirms that the results left me looking like me just refreshed. My goal was to not change how I looked or be obvious that I had work done. I just wanted to look a bit more vibrant to reflect how I feel. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Gadaleta. I plan to continue to work with him over time and refer my friends.
I recently had the pleasure of undergoing an aesthetic procedure performed by Dr. Gadaleta and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From the initial consultation to the postoperative care, every step of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism, skill, and care. Dr. Gadaleta possesses an impressive wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of cosmetic surgery. His attention to detail and commitment to achieving natural looking results, truly exceeded my expectations. During my consultation, Dr. Gadaleta took the time to thoroughly understand my concerns and expectations. He provided realistic insights into the potential outcomes. He communicated complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand, and made me feel confident and well informed. Similarly, Kimberly, the Patient Care Coordinator, walked me through the experience with calmness and reassuring instructions. She gave great advice and made herself available to answer any questions I had. Every precaution was taken to ensure positive outcome. The surgical team working with Dr. Gadaleta was attentive, professional, and efficient. The facility where the procedure was performed was modern, clean, and equipped with state of the art technology. Before I knew it, my procedure had been completed, and I was ready to go back home. It was an excellent experience. The postoperative care provided by Dr. Gadaleta and his team was exceptional. Everyone was readily available to address any concerns questions. Dr. Gadaleta provided his personal cell phone number so I could reach him at any time – that was a first for me! He called several times to check up on me, and to reassure me that everything was going according to plan. The results speak for themselves - I am not only pleased with the aesthetic improvements, but also amazed at how seamlessly the enhancements blend with my natural features. My friends have marked how ‘natural’ I look. That was my goal. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gadaleta to anyone, seeking a skilled and compassionate aesthetic, surgeon. His commitment to excellence, coupled with an artistic eye for beauty, makes him a gifted surgeon, and a standup professional in the field. Thank you, Dr. Galeta, for your exceptional work! I couldn’t be happier, with the way I look! Updated on 3 Jul 2024: Three months after my deep plane lower facelift and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Gadaleta exceeded my expectations! The procedure took years off my face. I look very natural and feel refreshed. While the procedure took four hours, I was surprised by how quickly I healed. I had moments of being uncomfortable because I don’t like sleeping on my back, but I was never in pain. I had some bruising and my face was a bit swollen, but after three weeks I was able to go out to dinner and not feel too self-conscious. At the three month mark, I have no visible scars, I can put my hair in a ponytail and I have full range of motion in my face and neck. This was worth every penny!
I recently had a fantastic experience with Dr. Dominick for my Sculptra appointment, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the procedure itself, Dr. Dominick and their team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. They took the time to understand my goals and concerns, and the results exceeded my expectations. The office environment was welcoming and comfortable, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Dr. Dominick to anyone considering cosmetic procedures. Thank you for your expertise and exceptional care!
Hello lunastellax, This is a good question that I get an asked a lot in my clinic. Brow asymmetry is actually more common than most people appreciate and can be a result of many different factors, including skeletal asymmetry, asymmetric muscle dynamics, soft tissue deficiencies, etc. Every brow asymmetry is different and requires a different approach. The most simple, most affordable and least risky procedure would be to try targeted asymmetric neuromodulator (AKA botox). You can use botox to lift a brow or drop a brow. A good injector can try to match the side you like best. In fact, this is how we treat certain types of facial paralysis. Looking at the photos you sent, I can see that you have asymmetric muscle contraction on one side of your face. This makes you a GREAT candidate for this procedure. If the brow is asymmetric due to volume loss on one side, filler can be used to add volume where needed and support the brow in a more elevated position. After non-surgical treatments are considered, I usually have a discussion with my patients about brow lift surgery. There are several different approaches to brow lifting surgery, each has their pros and cons. In my practice, the approach is customized to each individual based on their goals and exam. A direct brow lift is classically the best approach to best match symmetry of the brows, however, it’s downside is that the incision is hidden right above the brow and if it doesn’t heal perfectly, it can leave a visible scar. Endoscopic and hairline lowering (trichophytic) brow lifts are more commonly used for bilateral droopy eyebrows, but can be customize to try and elevate one side more than the other. There are several other options, but they would not apply to this situation. It is important to see a specialist who listens to you and feels comfortable performing all the different techniques, so that they can select the best procedure to fix your problem. I hope this helps! Cheers,Dr G
Hello PAGirl, Thanks for your question and sharing your photos.Although it's hard to tell exactly what's going on with just two photos, I can certainly see what's bothering you. You are in your early stages of aging and your mid- and lower face is starting to succumb to gravitation forces. The question you are asking is a typical question that I get asked in my clinic on a weekly basis. I think it's great that you are doing your research and trying to make the best informed decision for yourself. Although I do think there are people who benefit from instalifts and other thread lift, I don't think it provides a great or long lasting outcome for the expense. If you are willing to undergo surgery, both from a cost and recovery standpoint, I truly believe you will be more satisfied with your results. As for the question regarding if a lift now will preclude you from having a lift later in life, absolutely not. Revision lifts are common in my practice and are often performed 15-20 years after the initial lift depending on the patient. You are right with your concern regarding Ulthera and facetite. These procedures are best for people unwilling or unable to go through surgery. They do damage the soft tissues of the face and neck and make facelifting surgery more difficult due to the scarring that they leave behind.I hope this helps with your decision! Hello Anni, Thanks for your question and sharing your photo. First of all, let me just say you look great for 35 and you can barely see those nasolabial folds in the photograph...maybe it's just the lighting. If you came to my office, I would strongly recommend against surgery at this time (even though I love surgery). You are too young and too fit to take on the recovery, risk and expense of surgery at this time. Fillers are a great option for fine tuning, which is truly all you need. The nasolabial folds are one of the best areas to treat with filler and offer a high level of satisfaction for most patients. But I always tell my patients this...those folds should never be completely erased, otherwise things start to look weird. The goal is to soften that area. Look at any baby, even they have nasolabial folds! Hope this helps! All the best, Dr. Dominick GadaletaFacial Plastic SurgeonPalo Alto, CA
Hello again Pamengland, Not all fellows are created equally! If it's an option in your area, consulting with a fellow, or someone in their last years of sub specialized training can offer many great benefits. The most obvious is a lower cost of surgery. But how can you know if the fellow has the experience required to give you a good result. This is the more challenging question. Each training program is unique in terms of the fellows experience. The program I attended for fellowship at New York University had a great reputation. As a fellow, I performed several face and neck lifts on patients and had terrific outcomes for all of my cases. When performing the surgeries, I had mentors in the room with me, guiding and providing assistance when needed. The things you can do to tease out more answers is the following:Ask to see their before and aftersAsk about their numbers - how many cases have they performed? Have they had any complications? Ask if you can speak to one of their patients as a referralFind out who their fellowship mentor is and look them up. Fellows are emulating their mentors, so often the results can be similar to what is found on their mentors profile.Ask if they will have a more senior surgeon accompanying them in the OR that day. If all of these answers prove sufficient, having your surgery performed by a well trained and talented fellow can be a great option! I hope this helps! Hello Pamengland, Thanks for sharing your photos and question. Choosing the right procedure can be difficult, it truly depends on what your goals are. As we enter the 6th decade of life, we tend to have global facial aging, meaning the entire face has succumb to the effects of gravity, sun damage, and other factors related to genetic and environmental conditions. When analyzing the face, we tend to break it up into horizontal thirds. The upper most third is the forehead and brow area. There is certainly a heaviness in your upper third that is typical and comes with age. This area tends to make us look tired or even angry, as the brows sit lower on the face. Your eyelids are also showing some signs of aging, with excessive skin in your upper lids and some hollowing of your lowers. Your midface and lower face have also began to droop, leading to more apparent nasolabial folds (smile lines) and howling. Finally, the neck is also showing signs of excessive skin and laxity. You do have good bone structure and appear very fit. Assuming you're a good candidate for surgery, treating all of the areas at once tends to give the best, most profound, and balance results. That said, some people prefer to break up the surgeries into smaller operations to address one area at a time.If you were my patient, I would at least have a conversation with you about the following:Brow lift - either full endoscopic brow lift or temporal (lateral) brow lift depending on your goalsUpper and lower blepharoplastyDeep plane face and neck liftLip liftIn addition, you have lost a lot of volume to the face and have the typical signs of sun damage to the superficial layers of the skin. These issues can be addressed with a fat transfer and CO2 laser, as one provider suggested. I am not sure if this answers your question completely, but I hope it helps with your decision making! Goodluck! Dr. Dominick GadaletaFacial Plastic SurgeonPalo Alto, CA
