Not sure if I have the correct anatomical term but it's the muscles that pull the inner sides of the brows downwards. These are not the muscles typically injected for frown line botox, as they do not pull the brows together, they just pull them downwards. Whenever I have had frown line botox, these muscles have always been untreated. I hold a lot of tension in these muscles, they are sore and bulky to the touch. I was thinking that maybe relaxing these muscles would lift the brow area.

Hi @realsisa! Botox works by temporarily paralyzing the targeted muscles. This is an excellent treatment to reduce appearance of wrinkles. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
