Recovery varies with the patient. Swelling can persist for 3 to 6 months following submental liposuction but typically peaks in the first 48 to 72 hours. Bruising usually resolves in 2 - 3 weeks.

The jawline/neck lipo is done under local and with almost no bruising nor swelling. Most patient are back to work in 1 day. We use special dressings so we don't get bruising nor swelling. You look amazing right away and no pain!!! Sincerely,

its usually 3 days and back to work, if you wait a week you can do healing protocols to speed up healing and look more improved before back to work. do not get traditional liposuction here without tightening otherwise the results wont be nearly as good (See link). Best, Dr. Emer.
