I had a mini facelift and neck lipo 10 days ago and since this my distance vision is the same, but up close it is very blurry. I spoke to the nurse who said that was normal. Why? I did not have eye work? Is it due to swelling? Confused.

Answer: Your vision shouldn't change from a facelift.
It is not uncommon
to have some itching of the scalp after a minimally invasive browlift. This
usually resolves within a few months. One can use Benadryl or can consider
other therapies including Neurontin if it persists for more than 6-8 weeks.
It is possible that the flap of tissue under the skin is pulled too tight but your situation is unusual for 18 months after surgery. The skin was likely pulled too tight, as well, as you have the "pixie ears". While I tell my patients that final healing won't be until about 6 months...
You do have eyebrow asymmetry which is very common. You also have a droop or ptosis of your right upper eyelid. You should seek a consultation with an eyelid plastic surgeon. Make sure that they recognize that you have an eyelid droop and that they are experienced in ptosis repair. If they are...
