I'm concerned while presently in my 5th day post of my my vagina area is completely swollen as well as my genitals with an itchy vulva should I be concerned and contact my dr!

The most likely cause of vulvar itch and discharge after surgery is yeast colonization after antibiotics. You can use over the counter remidies such as monistat, and can also contact your Gyn for advice.

I would suspect the likeliest cause is vaginitis due to antibiotics given at and/or after the time of surgery. Call your surgeon for treatment advice. All the best.
