   A nonhealing area may be prevented from healing by poor nutrition or systemic healing problem, irritation, infection, tension, lack of tissue or a combination of factors.  Once a wound becomes chronic it is much less likely to heal on its own.  If you had very little tissue prior to surgery, healing at this area can be problematic.  Followup with your plastic surgeon.  Maybe a small revision will be needed.  Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA 

I usually stop Silvadene after a few days and try to dry out the wound as much as possible.  Weekly visits to your plastic surgeon to keep an eye on things is also not a bad idea.  It should be fine as long as your implant does not get exposed or infected.  Be Well!!

Appears as if the treatment is appropriate and healing does take time. Best to follow your surgeon's recommendation. 

A t-closure sometimes has healing issues at the "T" junction.  The biggest concern is if the implant gets exposed.

This is a common area for the skin to break down after a mastopexy / augment.  The biggest problem is that you do now want to get the implant exposed.  It this happens then the implant will need to be removed for several months before it can be replaced.  Hopefully this just a superficial skin loss and will heal over time.  

This is a common area for wound breakdown, though most will have healed by now. Often the cause for non-healing is the presence of a knot of suture--I would imagine your surgeon checked for that. You might be able to feel suture with your finger if one is present, and if so, your surgeon can remove it. 

Otherwise at this stage it may be worth a secondary closure, which could be done with local anesthesia.

This area may take longer to heal for a variety of reasons such as a suture abscess, tension during closure, and others.  Please continue the Silvadene and followup with your Plastic Surgeon to help get you through this complication.
