At five months there can definitely be swelling that is making the nose look wider than it will ultimately be.  I would expect there to be more change, although it is impossible to say how much more, and that if only a closed reduction of the fracture was performed I would not expect your nose to be wider after surgery.  As for the crooked appearance, when a fracture has recently occurred the nose is swollen which hides asymmetries.  As swelling subsides residual asymmetries from the fracture can become apparent.  A closed reduction involves pushing the bones back into position, and is often worth doing in the acute period following the injury.  But it is not uncommon that as the nose heals it may still be crooked because the bone did not heal in a straight fashion or the cartilage (which is often not adequately treated with a closed reduction) is contributing to the deviation.  In these circumstances a more formal open reduction of the nasal fracture can be required to better address the nasal bones and cartilage asymmetry. 

Mahalo for the pictures.  Your result is in the last phase of swelling resolution, but there is an irregularity of the midnasal junction where the bone meets cartilage.  By the sixth month, inflammation should be resolved to the point where you may be a candidate for a revision rhinoplasty to correct these changes.  Sadly, the nasal bones will have to be rebroken and moved into position again.

Broken nose repair at 5 months and will it change. Probably not. Unfortunately you will need a revision to get the nose you would like.
