I've had my saline under muscle implants 6 years. Now they fall into my sides and touch the bead when lying down. What needs to be done to fix this? Is it going to be expensive ?
Answer: Implant position I agree that the implants are too far out on each side. To fix this you could have a capsulorraphy to essentially sew closed the outside portion of the pocket.

Answer: Implants falling to the side? Your breasts implants are falling to the side because the pocket is over dissected. Repair will involve placing internal sutures to keep the implants in place and likely changing them to implants that better fit your frame - perhaps textured silicone implants. The cost will vary, but will probably be more than you paid originally. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in breast implant revisions.

It is a quick surgical procedure where you can go home the same day with little pain. Because you have 6 year old saline implants, you may want to consider switching to a silicone gel implant while you are in there. Saline implants have a shorter implant life span, so it may be a good decision but not a necessary one because saline can last longer than 10 years. Just a thought to save on recovery time and cost in the future. Cost will depend on what you and your surgeon decide. ac
