Did my friend get implants too big for her frame? (photos)

It does look as if your friend does have
some differences in the appearance of her bust and also her implants are lying
in a slightly high position with a lot of prominence in the upper part of her
bust.
It does look as if the implants are placed
under the muscle and this can cause a slightly high appearance.
I think it would be sensible for your friend
just to let the area settle and revisit the plastic surgeon to discuss the
results.

She can always be downsized in a re operation if that is her desire. Ofcourse she would need to pay for the surgery and new implants...// 

Every patient wants different things.  Some want closer cleavage. Some want wide implants, and still others want other things.

Your question is much too subjective to answer. What may seem too big for one person may seem too small to another. I would suggest that if your friend is unhappy with her results she should discuss these issues with her doctor.
