I'm getting a 505hp gummy bear implant. What size will I be? And do I need to go larger to achieve full breasts? (photos)

i am not  sure the Vectra representation equals your 505 HP implant-I would seriouslydo more research into what would give you the best result.  at the end of the day,the computer is not performing your surgery, but a surgeon is. 

This is perhaps the hardest decision for
a patient to make, as well as the surgeon. Cup size estimates can be
misleading, but I generally advise patients that they will experience an
increase of approximately one cup size per 200 cc. You can try on implants in
the office by placing them into a special bra.Approximately 50 cc (1-2 oz.) is added to the final volume to account
for flattening of the implant in the partial submuscular pocket. Once you
decide on a size you like, then add on about 25-50 cc, because in real life the
implant will be flattened slightly by your tissues.Multiple measurements need to be taken to fit
an implant to your exact anatomy. Have your surgeon's office show you the
charts of the implant dimensions for the various profiles of silicone and
saline from the manufacturer. Then you and your surgeon can piece
together the puzzle by matching your measurements, with your wishes, versus
your tissue cover and the available implants to arrive at a surgical plan.Keep in mind larger implants tend to have
more problems over the years.You can also approximate this at home by measuring out an equivalent
amount of rice placed into a cutoff foot of old panty-hose, and put this in
your bra.Wear this around the house for
a while, and see what you think.Implant
size must square with assessments of tissue cover, breast diameter, and chest
wall width. Multiple measurements of your chest wall are taken (seven in
total). Implant size selection has been
an issue of much discussion. Therefore, I use a wide variety of methods, but the implant size is
always established preoperatively.Also,
patients are advised to bring reference photos demonstrating their ideal size
and shape. A photo album of patient pictures is maintained to assist them.
These photos ultimately help in determining where the implants will be placed,
since they can be shifted inside (to provide more cleavage), to the outside, up
or superiorly, and down or inferiorly during surgery. In determining the final
size selection, I always place the highest priority on the preoperative
measurements and potential tissue cover. Then, the patient’s verbal requests
are factored into the analysis.Our
average size over the last 6,000 implants was 350. Be sure to see only a board certified
plastic surgeon (by ABPS - The American Board of Plastic Surgery) who is a
member of ASAPS (The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and or a member
of ASPS (The American Society of Plastic Surgeons). Also, ask if they have an
established, high volume breast augmentation practice, performing several
hundred breast augmentations each year. Ask to see their before and after
photos if you didn’t see any on their website. If they are experienced,
they should have several 100 breast implant patients for you to view. I
would also recommend that your doctor offer you the chance to talk to past
patients who would be happy to discuss their experience with you. You
need to feel comfortable, so make sure the environment is safe as in an
accredited surgery center. Also, ask a prospective surgeon if he or she has
ever published journal articles in professional peer-reviewed journals, which

There is no way to guarantee a particular bra size. Bra sizing varies greatly between bra manufacturers and a C in one bra will be a D in another. What matters more than the assigned bra size is the way the implant looks on you. The best option for your body and aesthetic goals can be determined in a thorough implant sizing session.Implant sizing depends on several factors. One of the most important factors is your breast width. Generally, your surgeon will measure your breast width, and then provide you with a range of implant sizes appropriate for your native breast size. There are more nuances to it than just what I've described, but this approach works for most women.I usually have my patients bring in a large bra and a tight t-shirt to do sizing. I'll then choose 3-4 implants that I feel are appropriate, and have my patients place them in the bra under the tight t-shirt. My patients can then look in the mirror and get a good sense of what they will look like with the provided implant sizes. My patients like this approach and get a great idea of how they will look.By using this technique, your surgeon can outline a range of appropriate implant sizes that will be aesthetically pleasing, and you make the final decision.I hope this helps. Given your concern, it is best to communicate it to your surgeon.  From your photos you may not require that size, but measurements at your exam would confirm.  One thing to note that the Vectra will not be accurate because you have some ptosis and breast tissue.  This technology is not as refined as the sales folks would like to think. In fact the company Allergan, recently discontinued selling the device. 

Very hard to address the final size after 505 cc =implants over the internet. Generally you should be a D cup with those sized implants. Best to seek IN PERSON second opinions... 

Thank you for allowing me to answer your question. It is difficult to give you an answer as there are too many factors involved that we do not have access to such as: your breast diameter, your skin tone and how dense your breast tissue is currently. To achieve a lot of cleavage in someone who has a broad chest you must choose an implant that is very wide and this will also cause the outside (lateral) part of the breast to protrude. Considering your desire to have a large cup size with full breasts I would ask your surgeon to have a sizer placed intraoperatively and to have several implants available to choose from once the proper volume is determined. Looking at your size and shape you should expect every 200 cc of implant volume to take you up one cup size.  I would expect that at 505 cc HP implant would take you up about 2.5 cup sizes.  I have a lot of experience with the vectra and to me it does not look like the image you are showing is a 505 cc implant, you have minimal breast sagging and should be able to get a reasonable representation of the size and shape that you could expect after surgery.   I have been using Vectra imagine for over 2 years and with over 130 breast augmentations I have had no complaints about breast implant size.  Your surgeon is your best guide to help you select the correct implant to meet your goals and expectations.   

From your photos and Vectra results, it does appear that your breasts would be too small according to this device. That is why you need to communicate with your surgeon so that he/she understands your ultimate goal. Then you have to trust them to make the right decision for you in the operating room. No one implant fits every woman the same. Thus, your surgeon should decide on the procedure to best help you achieve your goals. Do not rely on Vectra for this. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to get a formal opinion through an in-person consultation.

To give you a rough ideas of size, it is best that you do a baggy test with that volume and put on a loose fitting bra and see for yourself.

This is a hard question to answer online as you have seen from the other responses.  I would add that your cleavage gap is already genetically determined.  It is not advisable for a surgeon to try to narrow a gap like yours by dissecting into the thin skin over your breastbone.  If they do, you will have a high chance of not only seeing the rim of the implant, but possible visible rippling as well.  I would recommend you actually try on "sizers" in your bra to see if you like the look. The Vectra computer system is OK, but not very accurate.  Also, large implants (and especially the high profile type) have a high chance of bottoming out over time (which means they will drop and cause breast sagginess and the nipples to tilt upwards).  Please let me know if you need more information.
