I had 275cc dual plane BA nearly 6 weeks ago. I haven't liked them since day 1. My surgeon will remove them at the 3 month mark but not b4 to give me a chance to get used to them and because he said its best not to have another GA before this time. I hate them, it wasnt the reaction I thought I would have. They are a lot bigger on my petite athletic frame than what i wanted. I am hoping to be able to get back to my original look, is there any reason why they would look smaller than before?
Answer: Removal of breast implants should yield a breast size similar to the pre-augmented state.
The implants in question then and only for short time. After their removed in the healing process is complete they should look substantially the same as they did before breast augmentation.

Answer: Breast Size After Explantation?
Thank you for your question. Breasts often change over time with fluid retention, hormones, weight change, etc. They will look smaller, and it will be hard to remember how they looked before as it was some time in the past. The question is whether the are smaller based on how you fit your old clothes. They should be about the same size, but this is not 100% predictable. Discuss this with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I hope this helps.

Answer: Concerns about Breast Size after Removal of Breast Implants?
I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction after breast augmentation surgery. Given that you will be 3 months out of surgery, it is very likely that the breast volume will remain the same as it was before the procedure was performed.
Best wishes.

Answer: Will my Boobs Look Smaller After Breast Explant Than What They Were Originally? The appearance of your breasts after breast implant removal, also known as breast explantation, can vary depending on several factors: 1. Pre-existing Breast Tissue: If you had a significant amount of breast tissue before getting implants, your breasts may retain a similar size and shape after explantation, although they may appear somewhat smaller due to the absence of the implants. 2. Implant Size and Type: The size and type of implants you had will influence the appearance of your breasts after removal. Larger implants typically result in more significant changes in breast size and shape after explantation. 3. Skin Elasticity: The elasticity of your breast skin and tissue will affect how your breasts look after implant removal. If your skin has stretched significantly to accommodate the implants, your breasts may appear somewhat deflated or saggy after explantation. 4. Implant Duration: The length of time you had implants can also impact the outcome. If you've had implants for many years, your breast tissue may have changed over time, affecting the appearance of your breasts after removal. 5. Surgical Technique: The surgical technique used during explantation, including whether any additional procedures such as a breast lift are performed, will influence the final result. In general, it's possible for your breasts to appear smaller after breast implant removal compared to their appearance with implants, particularly if you had large implants or if your breast tissue was naturally smaller. However, the extent of the size reduction and the overall appearance of your breasts after explantation will depend on the factors mentioned above. It's essential to discuss your expectations and concerns with your plastic surgeon before undergoing breast implant removal surgery. They can provide you with a better understanding of what to expect based on your individual circumstances and help you set realistic goals for the outcome.
