Can I keep my same structure of nose bridge and get a nose bridge hump removed? (Photo)

Reducing the hump and slightly raising the radix of your nose can achieve a naturally subtle change while preserving your nose's structure. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. A skilled surgeon can take down the bump. When the bump is taken down, it will be a little less defined, but not overly so. The tip can be thinned some, while keeping it totally natural. Be sure you go to a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Based on your photos, you appear to have a relatively small dorsal hump. Thank you for providing photographs. The key here is that you know what you don't like about your nose as well as what you DO LIKE. Taking down a dorsal hump and refining the tip cartilage which is responsible for your bulbous tip is a routine component of open structure rhinoplasty. Express to your surgeon that you don't want to be overly narrowed and you do not what your tip over rotated in order to retain your ethnic features. I wish you the best of luck moving forward!

Your nose has a dorsal hump at the bony-cartilage junction and a little hollow distance to that. It may be possible at the time of the tip refinement that a septo cartilage graft can be used to straighten the tip, giving you more definition and minimize the hump removal. We do not need to change the base of the nasal bones that are attached to your face so the structure should be the same.

Often, lowering a bump on the bridge makes the bridge look wider, so we move the nasal bones closer to each other to protect and re-establish the definition of the bridge. When it comes to the bulbous tip, you get to define how much narrowing you want, and a good surgeon will communicate and understand and only do that much during surgery.
How *much* to lower the bridge, or narrow the tip, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)

Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. To get a good result you need the entire bridge lowered and the bones broken in addition to tip work. Your nose sticks too far out from your face and if that is not addressed you won’t get a good result
