I had surgery last Nov and 3 mos ago I noticed that I had a seroma. My plastic surgeon is very far so I have been going to the radiology Dept and having aspirations. I started with 90ccs of fluid removed, and the fluid has gone down every two weeks I’ve had 5 aspirations. My last one I only had 13 cc of fluid. The IR dr told me that should be it, not to mess with surgery to remove the capsule. My stomach is tight. Is it OK to leave the capsule alone? Any other recommendations other than surgery?

You will need medication for pain, both narcotic and also nonnarcotic like Tordol or low narcotic like Trammadol. Don't try to do this without pain medication. Your surgeon can also use a pain pump and catheter to give a low dose of local anesthetic continually for the first couple of days.
Hi there, thanks for your question! Based on your photos you are an excellent candidate for an abdominoplasty. During the procedure, if we find that your diastasis is seperated, then we would repair that as well. I reccomend an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so...
If you have excess fat, liposuction can be done to improve your abdomen. You also might get really great results with noninvasive muscle tightening with EMSculpt. It works nicely to bring the weak and stretched out muscles back together and make them thicker and stronger.
