Is dizziness normal after Kybella?

Question

I have kybella done tomorrow will be two weeks ago. It’s still very tender to touch and swollen. Soon after I had it done I started getting dizzy. When I lay down or turn my head i get very dizzy. Is this normal? I feel more dizzy than normal today and the doctor did not tell me if any side effects.

Thank you for your question and I apologize that you are not feeling well. Dizziness is not a common side effect of Kybella and I don't believe that this symptom is a result of Kybella. I would consult with your doctor if it persists.

This isn't a typical side effect of Kybella. I recommend following up with your Doctor. It can take up to 6 weeks for final results with Kybella. Also, many people need a series of treatments to get desired results. Hope this helps.

No, this isn't typical. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. Keep in mind, a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with non-invasive options like Kybella. I recommend Kybella with thermage, ultherapy, exilis. VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF is a great alternative for contouring the chin, if you're a candidate.
