Should I dissolve my temple filler or get more to correct puffiness and dents? (photos)

Hi. 4 months ago I had temple and cheek filler injected via cannula entry from cheek. Ever since, I’ve been self conscious about my temples. You can see they look puffy if the light is not directly on my face. I notice small dents from where the filler ends/veins are to the orbital rim of my eye. Is it better to dissolve this or can more be placed to correct? I’m showing 4 photos of the same filler on the same day in different lights. Thank you

In my opinion and based on your pictures, it seems better to dissolve it and re-inject a few weeks later.

If you are unhappy with your filler treatment you can consider hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler.  It may take multiple treatments to fully dissolve the product.  You can then try the treatment again.  Typically filler lasts about a year.  Since you are already four months post treatment you can elect to wait for it to be metabolized naturally instead.

For filler patients, I recommend a warm compress followed by firm massage for areas which need to be smoothed out. Massage for five minutes at least three times a day for 2 weeks. Make sure to use lotion on your hands so that you do not pull on the skin. 
If the result is not satisfactory, then dissolving is another option. Dissolving filler often takes a series of injections of the enzyme (hyaluronidase) to obtain the desired result. Of note, intense exercise also helps the body naturally breakdown filler. Many fillers dissolve naturally in about 1 year, although some are noted to last up to 2 years.
