I've been self-conscious about my legs since I was a teen. I hold on to stubborn fat mostly in my lower legs. I had high hopes to get liposuction on lower legs but heard that calf liposuction can be risky, with uneven results (dimples/lumpy skin) Is this only true for traditional liposuction, or are there other options available with better outcomes? Should I focus liposuction on just my knees instead? I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank You

Answer: Liposuction works well for calves, but caution is needed
There needs to be extreme caution taken into consideration with liposuction of buttocks. You can easily distort buttock anatomy (especially gluteal folds) that leads to worsened aesthetics.
If you have skin laxity to lower back, a lower back lift with or without liposuction can be performed....
Fat transfers would not be successful. At 67, your skin is quite weak and you will need a thigh lift. The incision will most likely need to be down the leg towards the knees.
