I am 165cm height, weight 48kg, chest width 11cm. Now i have round high profile 260cc , il looks like 34full b, i would like to go 2 sizes more and get more fulness on the bottom 34d/dd, obviously i still want to look good and not fake.Surgeon recommends 410cc teardrop implants extra high profile, position 2cm lower to get fuller lower part. Do you think this is good choice or there is other option that could work better? Please find photos before and after my first surgery 10 years ago.
Answer: Surgeon recommends 410cc teardrop implants extra high profile - good choice? Increasing the size of your implants by 150cc should increase your cup size by at least one full cup. Without lowering your fold, this larger implant will make your nipples point down. Lowering the fold is an option to prevent this problem, but lowering the fold has its own risks. It puts you at risk of inferior implant malposition, or a double bubble deformity. Make sure you have an honest discussion with your surgeon about obtaining the look you want now versus preserving your current beautiful look for as long as possible.

Answer: Breast implant size Dear PannaNancy, determining the ideal breast size and matching that goal for the patient is the most difficult part of breast augmentation. It starts and ends with the patient. We have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements. Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If its too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match. Of all of my breast augmentation patients, everyone of them have been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: I hope anterior capsulectomies are being considered in your re-aug as your lower poles need the ability to expand more and the implant itself will not make any difference unless that scar tissue is removed.

Answer: Revision augmentation Hello, Thank you for sharing your question. If you're interested in exchanging for a larger implant, the pocket in which the implant sits will definitely need to be positioned lower. The distance from your inframammary fold (IMF) to the nipple is relatively short compared to the rest of the breast, and that is what is giving the appearance of a lack of fullness along the lower portion of the breast. In order to increase this distance, improve lower pole fullness, and bring the nipple to the point of maximum breast projection, some skin from below the IMF would have to be recruited onto the breast if you plan to upsize the implant. This might mean that the surgeon will have to reposition the IMF lower, which can be tricky. I think the choice of shaped vs. round implant and the profile of that implant is less critical (but still important) than establishing a symmetric and appropriate implant pocket.
