Background. 43 year old female. Had a breast lift along with vaser lipo and j plasma skin tightening on inner thigh. Skin looks worse than before with deep lines that were not there. Brought up concern with Dr and was told it can take 6 months. My brain cannot comprehend how these lines will just go away.
Answer: Inner thigh liposuction Your mind is right. Those lines will never go away. Unfortunately people keep saying that J Plasma is going to tighten the skin and leave it smooth and the reality is it never does. I have seen a lot of patients in your boat with contour irregularities and wrinkled skin from using J plasma and also a LOT of fibrosis. I would suggest seeing a plastic surgeon who performs thigh lifts as that may be needed to deal with the skin and also enquire if fat grafting would help.

Answer: Skin I would suggest micro-needling with radiofrequency to help tighten the skin and can be done now. There are needling machines that are getting amazing results on loose thigh skin.

Answer: Technology overuse Dear colorme11, Hopefully your breast lift looks great! Many times, maybe more often than not, new technologies that promise the stars to physicians, and by trickle down effect, patients as well, are inappropriately applied. We don't know the full story behind your specific case, so it is difficult to comment. Continue to follow up with your surgeon, and if indicated, i.e. they promised you the moon and you got an earthly result, hold them to task on it. Good luck!

Answer: Who should get Liposuction and in what areas? You were not a great candidate for Liposuction of your In her sight. Contour issues of the inner thigh are much more related to skin laxity than fat distribution. Liposuction in this area typically does not deliver quality results as often as people might hope. The skin is dependent on the subcutaneous fat, and this becomes more important as we age and loose skin elasticity. From moving fat aggressively can compromise the skin significantly. J plasma fails to deliver any kind of legitimate skin tightening in my opinion from firsthand experience. I purchased the equipment and used it for a year. Not a single patient felt they had noticeable skin tightening from the use of this device. I could no longer recommend using it because it failed to deliver results. I made objective measurements and saw zero skin tightening from the use of Renuvion a.k.a. J plasma. Liposuction is a permanent and more or less irreversible procedure. The number of plastic surgeons will approach. Liposuction is in reality quite small. Did your provider show you before and after pictures of previous patient had similar characteristics and were approximately the same age? There’s no easy way to improve the outcome of your procedure.
