I am 5’7 I currently weigh 160 lbs I want to get liposuction to get a slimmer waist mainly get rid of the love handles and the lower belly. However I do have a pretty big tattoo on my lower abdomen section and I was wondering if this could get distorted or messed up by a scar. I also have a dragon tattoo that’s covering my back (but not the love handle section so much it’s mainly mid back although it’s the whole back. I wanted a slimmer stomach, and also get rid of the fat around my thighs

Answer: Lipo and tattoo Thank you for your question. Looking at the photos you have provided, I do believe you would be a great candidate for liposuction. Your tattoo should be fine, you should receive some skin retraction as well with the lipo. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Lipo and tattoo Dear Kiara.zamora, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like lipo won't affect your tattoo. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
