With that being said, energy based liposuction has added risks which include burning of the skin and Increasing contour problems. Power assisted or suction-assisted Lipo works just as well as the other techniques in terms of fat removal without the risks of burns to the skin and excessive scarring within the tissues.I would be careful about doing too much liposuction in yourselfAt this point as you have a nice result and in a thin athletic patient like yourself the risk for visible contour irregularities is much higher.

Yes, there is a lot of liposuction terminology and devices out there. Having the best equipment is important and includes a powered handpiece and small diameter cannulas. The energy components such as laser, radiofrequency, and ultrasound may add a slight enhancement of the result but they're not miracles and they don't make a mediocre liposuction technique better. So, the best way to go about it is to visit with a very experienced plastic surgeon who performs a lot of liposuction procedures, has a significant amount of great liposuction reviews, and who has a large selection of liposuction before and after photos. The consultation should include a thorough review of your history and a complete physical exam to determine the amount of fat available, the quality of the skin and soft tissue in the areas of interests, and how your desires align with realistic results.

Power assisted liposuction is most frequently performed by a board certified plastic surgeons, using SAFE techjnique. It is best to select a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in body contouring/liposuction and let him/her decide what technique to use. Good luck.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. BAsed on your photos, it looks like you would be a good candidate for liposuction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for your question. Looking at your photos that you have posted I would recommend a laser assisted liposuction. This will allow your surgeon of choice to contour the mid section a bit more and help with skin retraction. I would recommend seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

The basic procedure is still liposuction removing fat, but other things can be added to make removal easier to the surgeon and to tighten skin. Please go back to your surgeon and discuss more liposuction.

First let me say I think you have a very nice result and have done a great job in maintaining your results.Additional weight loss may help and I would recommend being with 5-10 lbs of your goal before getting additional surgery as that may affect results.You are correct, there are many liposuction modalities, which all work well. I think the best results are achieved with whichever modality the surgeon is most comfortable with.That being said, you have had previous liposuction and surgery and the flanks can be a difficult repeat area.In your case I would likely recommend Vaser (ultrasound assisted) liposuction, which works well in petite and redo cases to get that "snatched" appearance.

Even with your figure you could benefit from some selective lipo-sculpture. This removes small amounts of fat to enhance the appearance. I still believe that with all the techniques available, conventional liposuction is still the best and most predictable way to go.
