Absolutely! Most cellulite is caused from lack of skin elasticity so tightening the skin will help reduce the look of cellulite. Morpheus8 will help break up the unwanted fat tissue. I would recommend 3 or more tx for best results. Good luck!
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question! Yes, Morpheus8 can help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Morpheus8 helps redistributes fat out while tightening the skin. It's a great treatment overall for improved skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and tightening!
Instead of Morpheus8 you may consider Aveli. This treatment is designed specifically to target and improve cellulite. It is a minimimally invasive FDA approved treatment with some results noticed as soon as the day of treatment. See my website to learn more.
Morpheus8 would not be a good treatment for cellulite. It can help simulate collagen and elasticity which will help the appearance of cellulite. CoolSculpting may also help minimize the look of cellulite by eliminating fats cell followed by Venus Legacy which will help break up the cellulite. I would recommend scheduling a consultation in person to look at the area of concern before making a decision on what treatment is best to address your concerns. Good luck!
Morpheus is probably the best option for cellulite that we have. It may need anywhere from 1-3 treatments which have no down time and is easy to undergo. You do need local anesthesia for it to make it completely comfortable.
Hi Pooterray! Hope all is well. Morpheus8 can be used anywhere in the body. The procedure is optimal for cellulite and stretch marks for which we can use resurfacing (a different tip on Morpheus8) that will leave the skin looking younger and lifted. Depending how much of the buttocks we treat (if at all) we can achieve a lifting effect in that area as well. Although everyone is different, most people see improvement in skin appearance, texture, and tone. Let me know if you have any other questions! Dr. Luis A Perez
The short answer is yes. Morpheus can be used practically anywhere on the body to promote muscle contraction, collagen formation, scar treatment, fat reduction, and skin tightening.
