Hello Mayra,Great question. BodyTite is primarily used for skin tightening. It is capable of providing 45% contraction in tissues. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination.

I would wait at least 6 to 9 months after liposuction of your abdomen before doing anything. In your case I would strongly consider an abdomenoplasty. I like the bodytite technology but I think that the results would fall short of your expectations.

There are multiple treatments for loose skin before or after liposuction. When we bend, we all have visible looses skin. That's just reality when moving the body. What some people call loose skin is actually skin with less then optimal quality. Collage rejuvenation is in order and there are many great methods for making it happen.  In some tummies, the muscle sticks out but the skin isn’t really hanging. Another tummies the skin is hanging but the muscle is tight. In your case your skin is not hanging although it does wrinkle when you bend over (who’s doesn’t!) When you were standing up it is more muscle than skin. Also your bellybutton is positioned a bit higher than average which may work in your favor. My suggestion would be a muscle tightening procedure and a modest skin tightening procedure. That would be a full abdominoplasty with a bellybutton relocation or float procedure where they disconnect the bellybutton from underneath, tighten all of your muscles really tight, And then saw your belly button back down in a little bit lower position. That way it tightens up the skin above your bellybutton a bit and really tightens the skin below your belly button a lot. Plus you don’t have a scar or incision around your belly button. But you do need to find a surgeon who has experience performing it. It is not the usual tummy tuck.

A tummy tuck is far more effective at tightening the skin and your muscles could be tightened at the same time. But it is a much bigger deal than the other procedures. Discuss all with your surgeon to help decide what is best for you. Good luck.
