How much will my tip/bridge go down after rhinoplasty?

I have thick/oily skin and i feel like my tip is longer and more bulbous than before :( its so swollen I am on day 8 and hav been taking bromelaine (started day 7) and applying arnica as well my profile is really not as i expected...wondering typicall how many millimeters of swelling goes down max in thick skin?

It is hard to assess in mm the amount of change in tip swelling but it can be significant. Using oral steroids can help. During the healing your doctor might inject steroids and suggest night time taping. Reduce salt intake and sun exposure as well. RegardsDr.J

If your surgical plan included measure to reduce the size of your nose (tip and bridge), it will almost certainly end up smaller. Unfortunately these changes can take months to become apparent if you have thick skin. You should notice some improvement by 2-3 months and about 75% by 12 months.

You are only 8 days out from surgery.  Swelling will persist for many months after surgery. You have to be a patient patient. :-)
