I am scheduled to get a non surgical nose filler but I am worried it will make my nose look bigger. I just want a subtle difference, I would like my nose to be straighter. Can you please give me more information on it? Also will it look different from the front?

When evaluating a patient with a dorsal hump for a permanent nonsurgical nose job, we can typically show somebody what to expect with a hand held mirror, while lifting the skin above the bump to create a straight nasal profile. Thank you for your question about non surgical nose jobs.  The medical term for this procedure is a Liquid Rhinoplasty.  A liquid rhinoplasty is not permanent like a surgical Rhinoplasty would be, but it offers a wonderful alternative to surgery.  It is difficult to give accurate suggestions without an in person consultation.  Not everyone is a candidate for a non surgical nose job.  Occasionally it is possible to give the appearance of slimming a person's nose with a liquid rhinoplasty, but not always.  
To be sure you receive the best treatment, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. It may make the nose appear larger. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

A liquid rhinoplasty achieves the illusion of a straight nose by using filler to plump up depressed areas to conceal the bump. The nose often appears smaller, rather than larger, following a non-surgical nose job as better facial balance and symmetry is achieved, but this is dependent on individual physiology. There will be improvement from the front angle, but the difference will be most pronounced in your side profile or at a  3/4 angle. Consult with a physician with extensive experience in this procedure for best results, as it requires considerable skill and precision to ensure a safe and pleasing result.

No, a non-surgical nose job with fillers should not make your nose look bigger.  When done properly, it actually should look smaller, straighter and slightly lifted.  These are often very satisfying procedures for patients because results are instant and subtle.  Of course, if an HA filler is used, the results are completely reversible if you don't like them.
