I have a little cute nose who no one seems to notice is extremely crooked. I have two different profiles, one of them is slightly droppy and the other one is really piggy (still my favourite side) my side pictures can be hideous. I feel I have a deviated septum but I breathe fine. I want to try non invasive procedures before taking any decision. Does it worth a try?

Answer: Non Surgical Nosejob Candidate-- with Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Would non surgical nose job give my nose more symmetry? Adding a filler can definitely change the look of your nose and reduce the apparent deviation. I recommend a reversible filler to start with to give you the chance to see if you are going to like the look. Fillers add volume, so if the nasal features are too large to start with, surgical reduction may be your best answer. That being said, fillers have proven very good at camouflaging many nasal deviations or surface irregularities giving the nose more balance and aesthetic qualities. Reversible fillers leave all of your options open because they are temporary, can be reversed, and can help you decide which option you are most comfortable with. Permanent solutions are possible, both surgical and non-surgical.John Standefer MD
