Can I use Minoxidil after Scalp Micropigmentation?

I'm thinking about doing a Scalp Micropigmentation. I have thinning hair but it's not so bad. I just want to give volume as I do with Toppik powder. But I like using Minoxidil as well to prevent further hair loss. If I go on and have a SMP, can I continue using Minoxidil? Thanks a lot!

Minoxidil contains chemicals that may affect your SMP.  Contact your doctor as each provider has difference of opinions.

Yes, you can continue using Minoxidil after SMP but should wait 2 weeks after the procedure to allow time for the inks to become permanent. Alcohol-based products, such as minoxidil, may cause the ink to blur or fade if used too soon after treatment.

Yes, but make sure it is at least one month away from the procedure and make sure that the minoxidil is not alcohol based. The reason you wait at least one months, as the basement membrane of the epidermis takes at least that amount of time to exfolliate and change over
