Less than 48 hours ago I had Botox on my forehead and between my eyes. Immediately I noticed that my head hurts. didn't think too much of it but it still hurts, I have problems chewing, overall I just feel lousy. Is this normal also how long does this typically last? And if I'm experiencing this doesn't mean that I'm probably better off not using Botox in the future?
Answer: Botox Thank you for your question. I have had patients complain of headaches after Botox treatments; it usually subsides in a day or two. As far as chewing difficulty, this seems very unlikely related to Botox. Call your injector and let him/her know what you are experiencing. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Post treatment headache It isn't uncommon for a patient to develop a headache following Botox treatments although jaw pain is unusual. Are you sure you aren't coming down with the flu? If not, your symptoms should resolve in a few days and there shouldn't be any issue with your having future Botox treatments. Hope this helps.

Answer: Botox question Headaches do happen but rather infrequently after Botox Administration. Most of the time it is related to an minor injury of the underlying nerve or sometimes it's just a bruise from penetrating a nearby small blood vessel. If you feel considerably better in the next few days, I would not be afraid to have to repeat treatment. See how it goes and keep us informed. Good luck from New York City

Answer: Botox side effects Thank you for your question bellagotti34. I am sorry to hear about your situation. Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. Headaches can occur after Botox and can be treated with Tylenol. Flu-like symptoms are rare, but typically resolve on their own. I have not heard of jaw discomfort after a treatment unless the Botox was placed in the masseter muscle in the lower face. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
