Botox and other treatments can be combined during the same appointment but it is best to do the treatments affecting the subdermal skin layer first and then the surface treatment afterwards. Botox and fillers should be done first but can be combined with many other treatments such as chemical peels, laser, IPL, microdermabrasion, PRP, and facials.Once your skin is healed from the CO2 laser treatment which will take 1-2 weeks, you can proceed with a Botox injection. Best wishes for success!
botox and laser treatments can be done on the same day. I suggest you see an expert. some doctors will have you wait a few weeks but we have done both togehter for years without complications. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Typically, it is best to have Botox prior to your CO2 treatment. However, Botox can be done once you are fully healed from CO2 treatment and your doctor gives you the okay. Remember to always see an expert. Best of Luck!
Botox is ideally done before CO2 treatments but can be done as soon as 2 weeks after CO2 laser to allow your skin time to heal and for the inflammation to subside. Since the Botox is being injected directly into the muscle, the CO2 laser will not affect the Botox, however it is preferred to allow your skin to heal first to minimize the risk of the Botox needle affecting your healing or increasing your risk of introducing an infection. I’d actually recommend doing the Botox treatment first. After about two weeks, when your muscles are fully relaxed and the Botox is in full effect, then it would be fine to go on to get a CO2 laser treatment. Always talk to your board-certified dermatologist about the procedures you want so that you can create a schedule that optimizes your results.
Wait till you have fully healed from the laser treatment so injection sites are clear or irritation and there is good visibility in the area.
You can get Botox as soon as your face is fully healed and your doctor gives you the ok for the injections. It is never a good idea to inject into a skin still in the healing process.
Wait until the skin is fully healed, usually 1 to 2 weeks after a CO2 laser treatment, depending on if it was fractional or fully ablative. After that, there should be no reason to wait unless there was a complication from the laser, such as an infection.
You can have Botox after laser, be it or Fraxel or V-Beam laser or even a chemical peel. As long as your skin is healed from the CO2 laser you can have Botox. Please consult an expert in Botox for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Basically anytime after the skin has healed. Waiting for the swelling to go would be wise but not essential. Best results likely if you wait for the tissues to not be inflamed though,.
Receiving Botox in your upper face will have no impact whatsoever on your jaw or lower face or crow's feet or other areas distant to the injection.
Thank you for your question. It is too soon to determine what your final results will be as it takes up 2 weeks to see final results with Botox. What you have described only occurs if there is loose skin of the eyelids or if too much Botox is injected. I recommend waiting to see your final...
Thank you for your question. A side effect of Botox into the lip is that your lip can come over your teeth. This happens because the muscle in the upper lip has been relaxed. Unfortunately, this will take 3-4 months to wear off. I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation...
