Thank you for your question Elle, unfortunately at one month after your surgery there is still a lot of swelling, during your healing process the swelling will not go down evenly, that is a natural process. We do need to wait at least three months after the surgery for us to appreciate the final results.
I would give yourself at least 3 months to make a determination about the result. About 25% of the BBls I perform are revisions of a previous BBl. If you need a revision, find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal. If you are not happy with the results then, l recommend you to make an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a proper answer and to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)

Swelling can be substantial after a larger volume liposuction and fat transfer. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Having a BBL should cause no negative long term effects. Basically all you are doing is shifting fat from one place to another. It is true that rarely some patients can experience redistribution of fat to unwanted places. I don't think that redistribution of fat in a liposuction would have the...
If you are able to get to a healthy weight in that 3 month time frame, a Brazilian buttlift can be performed. I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon...
