Can I get a western nose? Please?

Question

I understand that the african american nose tends to have thicker skin,wider nostrils, flatter bridge etc...and then there's the whole facial harmony thing. However would it be impossible to create the same shape as a western nose and how "off" would it look? Speaking in terms of my own nose i already have a decent bridge all I want is my tip redefined and a nostril reduction. Would still be impossible?

Yes, that is possible. In fact, everytime a so called ethnic rhinoplasty or African American rhinoplasty is done, a Westernization of that nose is taking place. Otherwise, we should leave these noses alone. Good luck

Hello and thanks for the question. Yes your nasal tip can be refined with cartilage removal and suture techniques. Your nostrils can also be reduced. The thicker skin in many people of color is a bit thicker and sometimes I will add more cartilage to define the tip features. Good luckDr. Burnett
