I had an IPL treatment three days ago to help with rosacea flushing and broken capillaries. I expected some swelling and redness. The nurse said it would last a day or two. My face looks awful. It's extremely red, bump and itchy. I can't even apply miosturizer. It burns! I wanted something to help with the flushing and now it seems I have a bigger problem to deal with. Is it normal for skin to burn after IPL treatment? What can I do? Will my skin return to normal? Should I give it a week or two?
