This is difficult to answer without pictures. Some swelling can be typical, but if you're concerned I recommend following up with your Doctor for after care post IPL. Laser results can take several weeks to settle. I usually recommend a combination of treatments with IPL for best results. Thank you for your question. It's difficult to make exact recommendations without assessing you in-person, or at least reviewing your photos. That said, it's not uncommon to experience mild swelling after an aggressive IPL treatment, particularly around the eyes. I would recommend sleeping in an elevated position, and gently applying cool compresses to the area to help the swelling resolve sooner.
