I would like to look into removing a mole on my upper lip however, it sits on my lip. I talked to a dermatologist before about removing it awhile back. She didn’t seem to think it would be possible without taking part of my lip off causing a bigger problem. I was curious if that was just her opinion or if it would be possible.

Thank you for your question and photographs. It's difficult to evaluate your skin through this type of forum, but from what I can see, it looks like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The discoloration will fade over time, but in some cases, results can take months to even years....
