Is this birthmark surgically removable? (photos)

Question

I've had 3 pro fractional laser treatments. The first two times didn't do anything. The third, they used an additional laser, then the pro fractional one. It took the skin clean off. However, the pigment returned. I was wondering if this birthmark is surgically removable?

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Our office specializes in non-surgical mole removal.

Thank you for your question and photographs. There are challenges when attempting to surgically remove such a large lesion, especially on the face. I highly recommend you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to have your mole evaluated and to discuss safe and appropriate removal options. Take care and good luck.
