I had a facelift with chin liposuction 3 weeks ago. I am healing well, but still have numbness on sides of face. My appointment for peel is 5/7/19 and wondering if that would be sufficient time.

Answer: TCA and facelift IN many cases, I am able to offer the TCA peel at the time of the facelift, carefully applying to the areas that can be treated. In other cases, a patient and I may elect to treat the two areas separately. The trick is treat each case individually and make a prudent decision, since there's no obvious answer to this case.

Answer: How long should I wait to get a chemical peel TCA 35%, after having a facelift? Hello and thanks for your question. You should plan on waiting until you have fully recovered from your facelift and the blood supply to your facial skin has stabilized before moving forward with your chemical peel. Your current appointment date is likely too soon and may need to be pushed back some time to ensure you can safely undergo the treatment without damaging your results. Please follow up with your board-certified plastic surgeon before proceeding with any additional treatments. He or she knows what type of facelift was performed and will be able to determine if and when you are far enough along in your recovery to schedule your chemical peel. Hope this helps!
