Yesterday I had 70 units of Dysport to my forehead area. Nothing has changed. Did something go wrong?

My skin does not feel tight, am still able to fully wrinkle and frown. This is my first time and nothing looks any different and definitely nothing like the pictures I see on here. I feel like I was scammed. I did read something about fresh vs "expired" units. Do you think she may have used an opened bottle so the effects arent that great? Im really dissapointed. Are there any tips I should know the next time I go to keep watch for so I dont "waste" my money again.

It takes at least days to start to see the results of Botox and Dysport injections.Follow up with your provider for further concerns.

Thank you for your question. I would definitely wait two weeks before you come to any conclusion. I would also make sure that where you go is reputable. If you go to a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist, you are more likely to ensure that all your treatments are done in a very competent and ethical fashion.

Botox/Dyport takes 3-5 days to kick into effect.  Relax and give it a few more days to see the results.  If after a week everything looks the same I would recommend discussing this with your doctor

Dysport will take a day or two to take effect, and it may take a week before you see the full effect.  If after two weeks you still feel as if there was no change, follow up with your physician as that is an appropriate time for a "touch-up" if need be.

The typical time of onset of effect following dysport injections is 3-5 days.  Maximum effects may not be visible for approximately 2 weeks.  Be patient.  If you have not been injected previously I would schedule a routine follow-up approximately 2 weeks after your injections so that you can see if additional touchups are required.

Dysport is an excellent product and I suspect you will start noticing an improvement any day now.  Give it up to a week or so to reach full relaxation. No, nothing has gone wrong.  The product takes three days for it to kick in and do its thing.  Be patient. If you are still not satisfied, I suggest you contact the clinic and discuss with them.

Don't worry!  You still have time for the Dysport to become effective.  While Dysport may start working in 1 - 2 days, we counsel our patients to allow 2 weeks to see full results.  If you still see no results after 2 weeks, follow up with your injector.  They can review photos and determine if additional treatment is needed.
