How many ml of filler would I need to achieve my desired jawline? Which filler is best for this application? (Photo)

Question

I want a more defined jawline with a slight angle. I’m just trying to get an idea of how much filler is actually needed for this and what type is best. I keep getting quotes for cost per ml, but would love an opinion on actual amount, because if it’s a crazy amount of filler, I don’t think I could afford it and don’t want to spend time and money on a consultation only to be shocked. My desired look is the bottom picture.

FIllers should do an excellent job to straighten your jawline.  The best fillers for this area are firm fillers such as Restylane Lyft or Radiesse.  Typically two syringes per side are needed.

I often like to work with Sculptra Aesthetic when treating the posterior jawline and preauricular region. I usually recommend starting with 1 vial per session for this indication with most patients require 2-3 sessions spaced 1 month apart.If a hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane is used, then I would probably start with 1 mL per side and then add more as needed at followup appointments.
