In the single lateral view it appears that you have a "thick" chin pad and prominent chin and the height appears somewhat short. A reduction genioplasty would reduce the anterior chin projection but not the thickness of the soft tissue. A reduction genioplasty by shaving the anterior chin along with simultaneous reduction of the soft tissue is going to provide a aesthetic result. More photos would be helpful.

As backward sliding genioplasty or orthognathic surgery are not the correct solutions for a horizontally protruding chin. A submental chin reduction approach is best which can reduce the bone and soft tissue chin pad while not increasing submental fullness.
