Thinking of getting tear trough fillers before May 30th wedding. Should I wait?

You have to consider when your wedding photos are being taken and then consider at least a 4-6 week window before your event is before we would recommend  anyone to have a procedure.Some recommendations to correct tear trough hollowness is either HA fillers that have been used off label to correct this issue or micro-fat graft injections .  The advantage of the micro-fat graft injections is that it is your fat and some patients can benefit from having  the fat removed from the donor site. The skin is a separate issue and we make a personalized skincare program for all our patients.

You have plenty of time to place teat trough fillers before your May 30th wedding as long as you select a physician who is experienced with this procedure. Even minor complications such as excess swelling will resove before your big day. Congratulations!

This is a good question as many women come in days before a
big event like a wedding and are disappointed when we tell them they are better
to wait until afterward. As long as you
are at least six weeks prior to your wedding you should be fine. While you are unlikely to need that amount of
time, you will be all set for the events leading up to your wedding.
